My story

Meet Turner, a resilient and lovable 1½-year-old mixed breed with a heart full of affection and a zest for life. Medium in size and big on personality, Turner came to Paws Humane Society on April 18, 2025, after being found as a stray with what appeared to be a broken leg—likely the result of being hit by a car. Despite his injury, Turner’s spirit hasn’t wavered. He absolutely loves attention and lives for his walks, pulling with excitement as if he’s making up for lost time. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his gentle, sweet demeanor makes him easy to fall for. He's not much of a barker, but if you catch him giving you a focused stare, there's a good chance he's telling you it's time for another trip outside. Turner will need continued veterinary care and a home that can not only keep up with his bright spirit but also help manage his healing and monitor for any changes. He’s a special pup with a lot of love to give—and just needs a family willing to give him the extra care he deserves.
