My story

Say hello to Lucy, a sweet and gentle soul!This beautiful Aussie is about a year old and already knows how to go potty outside like a pro. She’s great on a leash and absolutely loves her walks—especially when there’s time to sniff all the interesting smells along the way. Lucy is wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to show her the ropes and join in the fun. She adores her toys and will happily entertain herself or join you for a game of fetch or tug.While Lucy can be a bit shy at first, she adjusts quickly with a little patience and love. When she first arrived at Animal Control, all the noise and activity were overwhelming for her. To help her decompress, she’s been staying with one of our amazing volunteers where she`s blossomed in a quieter environment.Because Lucy is currently in foster care (not housed at Animal Control), we’re scheduling meet-and-greets by appointment only.
