Health Status • Spayed: Yes • Others: Microchipped, Heartworm retest scheduled (Nov 2025) • She was treated for high intraocular pressure and inflammation in her right eye. Although the inflammation is under control, cloudiness remains. She will require lifelong management with one type of eye drop. 2. Rescue Story * Mikko was found at the Gimje City Shelter with a neck wound. She was urgently rescued because remaining at the shelter in that condition could have put her life at risk. 3. Basic Info • With People: Mikko is a little shy at first around strangers, but she warms up quickly and enjoys human company. With familiar people, she shows a relaxed demeanor and happily approaches them, wagging her tail. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs at the center. She doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs and is easygoing around them. • With Cats: Has no issues living alongside cats. • Separation Anxiety: Currently living with a group of dogs at the center, so it’s hard to determine accurately, but she hasn’t shown signs of separation anxiety from humans. • House Training: She goes both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, she’s being trained to use pee pads and currently uses them correctly about 70% of the time. • Hygiene: Calmly accepts basic grooming like bathing, drying, and nail trimming. • Walks: She walks well, keeping pace with her handler. She does not react to cats during walks. • Car Rides: Rides well in the car with no signs of motion sickness.
