Once you meet her, you’ll wonder how this playful, snuggly sweetheart is still here.Dora is a 1-year-old Great Dane/American Staffordshire mix with the cutest low-rider build — big personality, short and stocky body, and an extra pinch of chunk in all the right places. She’s a happy, wiggly girl when you first meet her, but she settles down quickly and just wants to be near her people.She’s housebroken, knows a few commands, and is highly treat-motivated (hence the “chonky” part!). Dora loves to play and would do great in a home with kids who can handle a big, playful pup. She’s good with most friendly dogs, but she’s a firm no on cats.Dora doesn’t need perfection — just someone who sees her worth, gives her structure, and loves her for the big, goofy sweetheart she is. After 100 days of waiting, she’s more than ready for a soft couch and a forever family.📍 Available at Chequamegon Humane Association 📞 Contact 715.682.9744 to meet Dora and be the first to say, “She’s the one!”All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.
