My story

A volunteer writes:"Breakfast at Tiffany's"...... Our Tiffany was brought to us by a Good Samaritan who found her roaming in her apartment building. She wore a beautiful pearl and gold necklace that we have saved very carefully for whoever will adopt her! Tiffany is an elegant and delicate looking dame who has been the sweetest since we took her into our care. She is a bit underweight and mildly anemic but good nutrition will most likely take care of that. Strangely, Tiffany was found to have had in a distant past surgery on her right femur telling us that she was at some point a cherished cat who somehow fell out of luck...Initially shy, Tiffany quickly leans into pets and purrs. Her finder who kept her for a few days told us that Tiffany was a very sweet and friendly lap cat. Tiffany, a lovely, pretty and gentle senior is dreaming of a home sweet home. Ask for her when you visit us at the Manhattan Care Center.What my friends at ACC say about me:Tiffany was on top of the den, alert and curious, and quickly jumped down and came forward when the assessor opened the door. She loved treats and accepted all petting, arching her back slightly with a partially raised tail. She allowed petting all over, including the head and her cheeks, and ate squeeze-up and hard treats. She was calm when picked up, but eager to jump back down and go back into the kennel.Tiffany interacts with the assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.I have lived with cats at ACC and I'm doing well with them in the Free Roaming Room, so I would likely do well in a multi-cat home.It could be with you!
