Once they’ve landed and had time to settle in, these two turn into the sweetest little cuddlebugs who love nothing more than curling up with you after a treat-filled play session.They do wonderfully with respectful kids who understand that sometimes a kitty just needs a little space to recharge. They’re also great with other friendly cats after a slow and patient introduction—but no dogs, please! Loud woofs are way too scary for these two sensitive souls.Alien and Sully are all about the good things in life: treats, wet food, catnip, cozy window perches for bird-watching, and all the toys, scratching posts, and cat trees you can provide. Once they feel safe, they’ll happily reward you with soft snuggles, gentle purrs, and the joy of watching their personalities bloom.If you’re ready to welcome a chill, affectionate duo who just need a little time and love to shine, Alien and Sully are ready to make your home their universe.The Auburn Public Library`s Cats in the Library program, launched during the pandemic in partnership with the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, was designed to boost staff morale during a difficult time. The initiative brought in adoptable cats from the shelter, allowing library staff and customers to interact with them and fostering a calm and joyful environment. The program not only provided emotional support but also had a broader impact: since its inception, over 65 cats have found new homes through adoptions. This unique collaboration continues to be a heartwarming success, benefiting both the library community and the animals in need.
