My story

Meet Valencia—a resilient, one-year-old mixed breed with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to be broken. This medium-sized sweetheart was found as a stray and brought to Paws Humane Society on April 22, 2025. When she arrived, she was severely emaciated, a tough reminder of the neglect she had endured. But even in the face of hardship, Valencia’s gentle nature shines through. She’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and remarkably trusting of people. Her soft eyes and loving demeanor make it clear—she’s ready to give her heart to someone who will finally give her the care and kindness she deserves. Valencia is currently on a special diet to help her safely gain weight and rebuild her strength. She’ll need a home committed to continuing this care and monitoring her progress. But in return, she’ll offer endless affection, quiet loyalty, and a second chance at love that’s as rewarding as it is heartwarming.
