My story

My name is Daisy and I am looking for a forever home.  Me and my two puppies were dropped off at a shelter by our previous owner who didn't want us.  Fortunately for us, a small local rescue came and got us just in the nick of time as the shelter was full and owner surrenders go to the top of the "bad list".  My puppies have already been adopted and a volunteer with the rescue reached out to BCAA to see if they could help me, and they said yes!  I appear to be a dachshund mix (maybe with corgi?) and at about 14mos old and a little over 26lbs, I shouldn't get any bigger.  I have gotten along with the other dogs my size that I've met and haven't bothered the cats I've come across.  I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding, although i would prefer to be out with my people.  I'm good on leash and enjoy going for walks.  I love my food and treats which I take gently.   If you would like to meet me please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
