My story

Meet Scar, a gentle little soul with the softest fur and the biggest heart. Born on February 3, 2025, this sweet Turkish Van mix is as beautiful as he is tender. While he may be a bit shy at first, once he feels safe, Scar becomes a total purr machine and a devoted cuddle buddy. He finds comfort in the company of other cats and would likely thrive in a home with a calm, confident feline friend to show him the ropes and offer reassurance. Scar is still learning that the world isn’t so scary, and he’s looking for a patient and loving family who can give him the time and space to blossom. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet companion with a heart full of love—and perhaps have a welcoming resident cat who wouldn’t mind taking a timid little guy under their wing—Scar might be the perfect match. He is currently in a foster home in Texas and is ready to find his safe place to land. Read below for more information. All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care. ##2331772##
