My story

Meet beautiful Greta! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 4/15, and no one has come to reclaim her. Greta has the prettiest smile, and the volunteers have really enjoyed getting to know her! They describe her as friendly, gentle on leash, and attentive to people around her. She sits so nicely when asked! If Greta sounds like the new BFF you've been searching for, please come meet her! Greta is approximately 2 years old and weighs 55 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Greta is waiting patiently in run 834; her ID # is 9393. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
