My story

Meet DAKOTA Look at the gorgeous markings on Dapper DAKOTA! The only thing more special is his spirit! This wonderful, kind, playful, affectionate boy is an incredible pup who would love to have a family to call his own. DAKOTA likes all people, dogs, and belly rubs! He loves to play, but is more mellow than a lot of huskies, although he does occasionally get the happy zoomies!. DAKOTA walks nicely on a leash and enjoys making new friends. He's also a smaller guy at about 48 lbs. and is less than 2 years old. DAKOTA makes everyone he meets HAPPY! Don't you want to give him a chance? Contact Kaja at START Rescue: 917-655-0545 or kaja@startrescue.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dakota, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
