SANDY

My story

Meet Sandy, a beautiful and energetic 3-year-old Shepherd mix looking for her forever family. Sandy was transferred to us in April from San Antonio Animal Care Services after being found as a stray. She is a fun dog who is in need of a family who understands her personality and needs! Sandy would do best in a home without cats, small animals, or children under 12 years old. She does have the potential to join a family with another dog after the proper introduction with our training team here at the SAHS! Sandy is an energetic girl who sometimes doesn’t know what to do with all of her excitement, but she has been working hard on calm behaviors with our training team and is doing great so far. She would thrive in a home with experienced dog owners who will be able to help her get her energy out in a more calm way! If you’re looking for a super cute and dog who will be fun to train with, you should definitely meet Sandy!
