My story

Hello, I'm Nugget! I'm an outgoing and snuggly boy with a heart of gold. I am hoping to find a home where my people are able to give me lots of love and attention (I can get VERY lonely). I am talkative, enjoy being held and pet all over, and will very happily sleep beside you at night. I also enjoy playing with catnip stuffies, springs, balls, and wand toys! I previously lived with other cats, and may be able to adjust to new feline friends after a slow introduction. _________________________________________ This cat was noted to be in poor body condition and with an unthrifty coat on intake. Diagnostics were non-specific but suggestive of physiologic stress, possibly chronically, while may be due to poor husbandry and poor nutritional plane or undiagnosed disease. An FeLV/FIV test did not indicate active retroviral disease. The shelter is treating the cat empirically with a dewormer, but additional follow-up care with the adopter's vet may be indicated if improvement is not seen.
