Minnie was previously in a foster home, this is what her foster Mom said about her: Minnie is very sweet and loving and we call her a velcro dog! She`s great with our 55lb lab and likes to play tug-a-war and chase play with toys. We would strongly recommend her going home with another dog, that is large in size and has some energy. She`s done okay with cats and small dogs until she gets comfortable, then she wants to play them with them (too rough and jumpy) and chase them. She is fearful when meeting new people and can become jumpy and mouthy when comfortable, so small children would not be recommended. Minnie has been working with clicker training and knows this sound well, so she would also benefit from training with this method. Minnow was diagnosed and treated at CAS for chronic diarrhea. She has received multiple rounds of dewormer, a special diet, and B12 injections. Her stool has improved on the special diet (GI biome) and it consistently has form now. She may require this special diet for an extended period of time, or perhaps for life. She`s a special dog looking for a special family!
