My story

This handsome 2-year-old boy is Yuletide, and while his name brings to mind warmth and coziness, he`s still learning how to feel safe and secure in a big, unfamiliar world. Yuletide is shy and timid, preferring to observe from the sidelines at first. But with a little patience, a quiet space, and a whole lot of love, this tender-hearted kitty begins to bloom. He’s not the kind to rush things — but when he trusts you, his companionship is something truly special.He’s the perfect match for someone who understands that love is earned, not forced — and that sometimes, the most meaningful bonds are the ones we wait for. Come meet Yuletide and see if you’re the one he’s been waiting for.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
