🐾 Meet Roger – 99 Pounds of Love in a Labrador Suit 🖤Say hello to Roger, a 4-year-old, 99-pound black Labrador who’s as friendly as they come. This sweet, neutered boy was surrendered by his previous owner who could no longer care for him, but Roger is taking it all in stride—and still greets every new face with a wagging tail and an open heart. Roger has lived with other dogs and was a regular at the dog park, so he’s no stranger to canine company! He hasn’t lived with cats or kids, so slow introductions are best, but his calm and people-oriented nature gives us hope he’ll settle in well. 🏡 Housebroken? Check. 🦴 Great on leash? Yup—once the excitement settles, he walks nicely. 🐕 Friendly with strangers? Absolutely. He’ll be your buddy before you even say hello. At intake, Roger was curious and affectionate—whining just a bit, possibly wondering where his person went, but never fearful. In fact, he happily walked off with staff without hesitation. His gentle, loving demeanor shines through even in uncertain moments. Roger is a big boy and carrying a bit of extra weight, which might explain some of his pacing early on. But with regular walks, a little structure, and a healthy routine, he’ll be back in top form in no time. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, people-oriented companion who’s ready to be your shadow and best friend, Roger might be your guy.
