KNOWN WITH DOGS: Lincoln previously lived with other dogs. He is still learning how to play with bigger dogs but is interested in being near them and engaging. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how Lincoln is with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: We do not know how Lincoln is with kids, though he can be nervous around unexpected noise and movement. KNOWN CUES: Working on Touch. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: The crate is Lincoln's safe space at the Adoption Center and he is comfortable hanging out in there. KNOWN LIKES: Toys, fetch, treats, affection from trusted friends. KNOWN DISLIKES: Unknown. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Lincoln came to Homeward Trails from a rural rescue partner in Lee County where he was surrendered with three other dogs. He can be shy at first but feels more comfortable with human friends who take it slow and move at his speed. He's a treat-hound who can learn a lot, including taking in new experiences, with positive reinforcement and patience, and he can't wait to meet a family ready to give him the love and time he deserves! Lincoln was neutered before coming to Homeward Trails.
