My story
Say hello to Oreo! Oreo recently made his way into our adoption program and we are still getting to know him. Oreo has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), this means he is immunocompromised but there is no treatment needed for FIV, just monitoring. FIV+ cats typically live just as normal of lives as any other cat. FIV can be spread to other cats through bite so although it is low risk, his adopters should be aware of the potential to spread if there are other cats in the home. We are still learning more about Oreo, so check back doon for updates or better yet, come in to Anti-Cruelty and meet him yourself! We do same day adoptions!
