My story

At just 7 months old, Delon is already winning hearts with her gentle soul, adorable quirks, and loving nature. She’s that perfect mix of curious puppy energy and laid-back cuddler, and she’s looking for a forever home where she can continue to blossom. Delon can be a little shy at first, especially with new people or dogs, but once she warms up, her playful, affectionate side comes shining through. She’s been meeting dogs of all sizes in her apartment complex and is learning how much fun it is to play with new friends! She even met kids at an adoption event and was gentle and sweet as ever. 🛋️ Cuddle Pro: Loves curling up next to you, resting her head in your lap, or lounging on the couch for snuggles. 🏡 Crate Trained & Learning Fast: Delon sleeps peacefully in her crate and chooses to nap there on her own. She’s working on house training and is already doing really well (though she occasionally gets distracted outside). 🎓 Smart & Eager to Learn: She knows sit, “drop it,” and “down,” and she’s learning stay and leash manners. She’s already mastering sitting before elevators and waiting to go inside buildings! 🐕 Good on Leash: Great on walks, loves to explore, and doesn’t pull. She may get excited and zigzag a little when something catches her eye (birds, dogs, squirrels…you get it), but she’s improving every day. 💤 Chill Vibes: When she’s not exploring or playing with toys, she’s perfectly content lounging in her bed, crate, or anywhere near you. 🎾 Playful, But Calm: She’s more of a toy chewer and cuddle-bug than a fetch fanatic (for now), and she entertains herself well with rope toys, stuffed animals, and anything with a squeak. Delon would thrive in a calm home with a fenced yard, a soft couch, and people who want a snuggle companion. She would love a confident dog buddy to play with, but it’s not a must. What she really needs is a patient adopter who will continue her training, give her time to build confidence, and spoil her with affection (and maybe a rope toy or two). She’s the kind of dog that quietly sneaks into your heart—and before you know it, you can’t imagine life without her.
