My story
Amberly is an extremely sweet, affectionate girl! She came to us from a rural Texas shelter where she was due to be euthanized due to her being FeLV positive. FeLV (feline leukemia) is a virus that only affects cats and it does shorten their lifespan. But currently Amberly has no symptoms and is enjoying her life. She has bonded with the other FeLV cat in her foster home, Gatsby, and they are an absolutely adorable pair! He is shy and she brings out a social side in him. This beautiful pair are looking for a kind, loving home that understands they will not have long lives--but are willing to give them a wonderful life for the time they have.
