My story

Hi! My name is Poppi, nice to meet you! I’m a gentle, loving soul originally from Alabama. Since being here, I gave birth to five beautiful pups in a difficult delivery. I had a whole team of people help me and care for me which was wonderful. Now that my pups are growing up and finding their own homes, it's my turn to be pampered and loved!I’m very affectionate and always ready to snuggle. I can really be a couch potato and take multiple naps a day. But, I also LOVE going on walks. Sniffing every inch of grass is super interesting to me. I can sometimes be goofy but you’d never know it by the serious look I have on my face most of the time. I’m pretty calm 99% of the time, but when I get outside and the air hits me, I get a fast and happy trot going! I’m ready to be a pup again and soak up all the attention from my future forever family. I’d be a perfect family member and be a great companion. I can’t wait to find my favorite napping spot in my new home... Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
