What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I would do best in a home with only adult humans.A volunteer writes: Owl was left behind with another cat in an apartment, so we don't know too much about her before. Perched atop her Kuranda bed, she seemed to be deep in her thoughts and in the process of sorting through all of this when I last visited. She doesn't necessarily want to be alone in her thoughts though. There's a gentle softness to Owl that enables her to blend in, maybe a little too much. I extended my hand and Owl softly leaned into me, graciously tucking her head for pets. Owl most sincerely enjoys attention and is happy for the chance to be included, but she isn't always sure how to ask for it. She could take a page from a kitten's playbook and hop around at the front, but it's really just not her style at the moment. Owl's a calm and quiet kitty who is spectacular as she is, so please come in and tell her you see her. Primary Color: Black Weight: 11.35 Age: 6yrs 0mths 3wks
