Meet Tulip? 1-Year-Old Hound/Pitbull Mix Tulip was found as a stray, and it's clear life hasn’t been easy for her. She’s just a year old and still learning that the world can be a safe place. Right now, shelter life is overwhelming—she’s scared, hand shy, and sensitive to loud noises. But even through her fear, Tulip shows a quiet courage: she wants to connect. She approaches people, even when her body is trembling, showing she hasn’t given up on trust. Tulip would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone who will let her decompress at her own pace. She doesn’t need a busy environment—she needs time, understanding, and love. Older kids only, due to her fearfulness. She’s done well with cats and finds comfort in the company of other dogs. A confident canine friend could really help bring her out of her shell. Tulip is insecure, but so full of potential. With the right person, she’ll blossom into the loving companion she’s meant to be.
