My story

Hi, I’m Kongnim!I’m a three-year-old mixed breed with a soft white coat and a gentle, easygoing nature. Weighing 6kg (13.2lb), I may be small, but I have a big heart full of warmth. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia, but now, I’m looking for a loving home where I can feel safe and cherished.   PersonalityI’m naturally friendly and social with people and other animals. I might be a little cautious at first, but I warm up quickly—especially with a treat! I love being around people, but I’m not clingy. I prefer lounging on a comfy mat rather than being held too long. I enjoy gentle face pets and get nervous with loud noises or sudden movements, but I recover quickly with reassurance. New visitors might get a soft bark at first, but I settle quickly and enjoy their company.   Social SkillsI get along well with other dogs and humans alike! I greet politely during walks and enjoy friendly sniff-and-greets. I haven’t met cats yet, but I have great social instincts.   Energy and ActivitiesI have a moderate energy level—love walks and nature, especially grassy areas and mountain trails. Beaches? Not really my thing. I sometimes pull the leash in excitement but respond well to guidance.   Training and HabitsI’m a well-mannered housemate. I don’t chew, steal food, or bark excessively. I’m crate-trained, house-trained, and can use pee pads. I don’t have separation anxiety and can stay home alone like a champ. I know a few phrases like “let’s go for a walk” and “want a treat?”   Eating HabitsI have a healthy appetite but can be picky if I’ve had too many treats. I love human food a bit too much, so I need supervision. I tend to swallow treats whole, so small, soft ones are best!   Grooming and HandlingI shed seasonally like many Jindo mixes. I tolerate baths, nail trims, and grooming even if I’m a bit nervous about them.   My Ideal HomeA calm, patient home where I can take my time to feel safe. I’d love a nature-loving family and a peaceful environment. I’m okay with other friendly, non-competitive dogs and prefer older children or adults.   Special NotesI’m gentle, well-mannered, and affectionate—without being needy. With a little patience, I’ll be your most loyal friend. If you’re looking for a calm companion for nature walks and quiet evenings, I could be the perfect match.
