My story

Looking for a calm, cuddly companion to keep you company on the couch or in bed? Nena is your girl. This lovely lady is friendly, affectionate, and all about the cozy life. Described by her previous family as a total sweetheart, Nena is a lovable, laid-back cat. She can be a little nervous around new people at first, but once she feels safe, she turns into a devoted cuddle buddy who’s always down for a nap in bed or a quiet evening on the couch. Nena did wonderfully with older kids in her previous home and lived with other cats, including her pals Indy and Bella Rose, who are also looking for their next homes. Stop by and meet this snuggly sweetheart—you might just fall in love. Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. All cat adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccine -current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV/FIV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
