My story

Introducing Sarge, a calm and quiet adult cat who’s finally getting the chance to focus on himself after a tough start in life. Rescued from a hoarding situation where he spent his days fathering litter after litter, Sarge is now looking for something he's never really had; a loving home to call his own. Sarge is a mellow guy who enjoys exploring his surroundings at his own pace and finding a cozy corner to relax in. Since arriving at the shelter, he’s been a bit reserved, not especially playful or affectionate just yet, but we believe he’s still learning how to just be a cat in a safe and peaceful space. This gentle boy would do well in a calm home environment with adults and children of all ages. He’s also comfortable around other cats and would likely appreciate the quiet companionship of a feline friend. Sarge may not be the first to greet you at the door, but he’s the kind of cat who will grow with your love, trust, and patience. Give him the chance he’s been waiting for—and watch him blossom.
