My story

Dove interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Dove came from a hoarding case and has shown significant improvement in his demeanor after having some of his dental issues resolved. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience, demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.A volunteer writes: I love to play and snuggle with cats, but sometimes that's just not what's needed at the moment. Meeting our friends where they are is a beautiful thing and it's something that everyone could use, but especially Dove as he becomes the best cat he can be. Dove was found abandoned in a building with many other cats and may not have had as many opportunities to meet people, which is why, all curled up in his big fluffy bed, he asks for a tiny bit of extra patience as he figures things out. While Dove may not be one to ask for pets, he'll accept them if you have any to share.
