My story

Meet Lexi! This playful and confident pup is bursting with personality and charm. She’s always ready to explore the world, greet new friends—both human and furry—and chase after her favourite squeaky toys. Fetch is her game of choice, and she’s happiest when she’s running around with a toy in her mouth or basking in a sunny backyard spot. Her favourite treats are beef sticks and collagen chews. Lexi is a total cuddle bug who adores snuggling, especially before and after her naps. She thrives on affection and will gladly soak up every pet and scratch you’re willing to give. While she hasn’t lived with kids or other pets, she’s shown friendly and enthusiastic behaviour around both. With proper introductions, she’d likely thrive in a home with another dog, small animal, or respectful, dog-savvy children. She hasn’t met cats yet, so a slow, supervised introduction would be key. This city-savvy girl isn’t phased by noise or traffic and is learning to walk confidently on leash—though she does get excited and pulls toward interesting sights like squirrels. She’s working on potty training and basic commands like “sit” and “stay,” and sleeps in her crate at night. Although she prefers the door open and takes a little time to settle, she’s successfully stayed home alone for a few hours and can entertain herself when needed. Lexi would love a home with a backyard to explore, a doggy sibling or kid to romp around with, and a family who can match her fun-loving energy. She’s vocal indoors when she wants attention or playtime but is not overly reactive to outside sounds. Whether she’s sunbathing, cuddling, or tossing her toy around, Lexi brings joy to every moment.
