My story

If you would like more information about Mercy or are interested in fostering or adopting her, please send an email to atgeoca@gmail.com This sweet girl showed up in my yard recently and wouldn’t leave. My wife took her to the vet to find out if she was chipped. Mercy is chipped, but the people registered to the chip have been unresponsive. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state at the end of May and cannot take on another dog. Mercy’s disposition is very sweet, and she gets along with our husky mix. More importantly, she gets along very well with our 3-year-old daughter and allows her to pet and hug on her! Mercy has been living in our house during the day and night as well and is housebroken. We keep her in a large crate at night mostly as a precaution because our toddler often roams the house in the middle of the night. So she is crate trained and tends to nap in the crate during the day unprompted with the door open. This animal posted is not under the care, custody, or control of Friends For Life and shall at no time be considered the property of Friends For Life. We know networking works and to the extent that we can provide a platform for animals to be seen and placed, that is our intention.
