My story

Meet Jackson! Jackson is an energetic 30 lb terrier mix with a whole lot of personality packed into a small frame! Still puppyish and bursting with enthusiasm, Jackson is always ready for action—whether it's a game of fetch, a long walk, or learning new tricks. He already knows to sit, down, wait and shake, and with his sharp terrier mind, he’s eager to keep learning. Jackson likes to ride in the car and run beside a bicycle. He enjoys playing with his 3 foster buddies and ignores the house cat. He would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of physical and mental stimulation, continued training and structure. With time, understanding, and consistency, Jackson has all the makings of an amazing companion. If you're looking for a fun, smart, and spunky dog to join you on life’s adventures, Jackson might just be your guy! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
