My story

Meet Apollo, 53 lb Husky who is ready to find his forever home! This sweet and loving boy craves companionship and is eager for attention and affection. Apollo is very smart and curious, always interested in exploring his surroundings, and loves to be involved in whatever you're doing. Although Apollo gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, he may be best suited for a home where he is the only dog, as he does exhibit some resource guarding around food and new, highly-coveted toys. He probably learned this behavior from his past life where he likely went hungry often and didn’t have any toys to play with. While Apollo is friendly and loves being around others, he does have some separation anxiety and prefers to be near someone at all times. If you plan to crate him, he will need crate training to help him feel more comfortable and secure when you're not around. Apollo really learns quickly and already knows a couple of commands, but like most young Huskies, he'll need some additional training to really hone his skills and learn more. With patience, consistency, and some fun training sessions, Apollo is sure to thrive and become the loyal, loving companion you’ve been looking for!
