Casper in Texarkana TX

My story

Casper is a male white Poodle. He is 6 years old and he weighs 24 pounds. Casper is neutered and vaccinated including rabies. He is heartworm negative and is on monthly heartworm prevention. Casper is ready for adoption. Casper is a loving soul who wants to please. He and another dog were left with relatives during a housing problem, and a year later, after living in kennels in the garage all that time, the owners gave the go ahead to find them homes. (His haircut is a little short because it was quite overdue but we bet he will be a looker if groomed and cared for over time.) Casper has done very well with house manners and potty. He is a boy, so marking during the first few weeks will be something to prepare for. Casper likes other dogs, likes people and really wants to be accepted and loved. Casper greatly enjoys a hug and a cuddle. We think he would do well in any type of home setting but would like a yard and a dog friend or a person with time for him. Adoption fee is $250. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
