My story

Darling Daryl has a life that could fill a Disney movie, full of ups and downs. Daryl’s family moved out of state three years ago, gave him to another family member who died, and the people on Daryl’s microchip don’t want him. Don’t want him? Who doesn’t want a beautiful, easy-going, furry friend with an adorable, sweet demeanor? He has a gentle heart and leading-man charm, so now Daryl is waiting for his happily-ever-after with you. Daryl has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), a condition that suppresses his immune system. But he is a perfectly healthy cat, with no signs of being slowed down by FIV! Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives with no symptoms at all. The virus is not spread to people or dogs. And it is not spread to cats through casual contact -- like sharing litter boxes, water and food bowls, or through snuggling, grooming, and playing. Daryl is about 8 years old, fully vet checked, neutered, FIV/Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home.
