Ducky

My story

Hi!  My name is Ducky and I am looking for a forever home.  I was found by some nice folks at a church after I was thrown over a 6' fence.  They contacted a small local rescue who took me in, got me to a vet and then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me find a home and they said yes!  I can only guess I got my name 'cause of my short legs and I waddled a little when I was smaller.  The vet thinks I'm probably a dachshund mix, maybe with a little beagle or even lab.  At around 12weeks old, I'm just under 15lbs so am expected to be a medium sized dog when I'm full grown.  I am having lots of fun in my foster home which has dogs and cats and I have gotten along with everyone.  I can be a little shy when I first meet you, but it doesn't take me long to learn to trust you and then I become a typical puppy who loves cuddles and playing.  I will need continued socialization and training to become the great adult dog my foster mom says I'm well on my way to becoming.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application!
