My story

Sydney is a 4-year-old sweetheart who found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own. Right now, she’s feeling a little overwhelmed by all the hustle and bustle, but with a little time, patience, and love, we know her sweet and affectionate personality will shine brightly. Sydney is reported to be completely housetrained (gold star for her!) and absolutely loves cuddling up with her favorite people. She`s the perfect blend of playful and snuggly — whether she’s running around the yard or curling up next to you for some quality time, Sydney is happiest when she’s close to those she loves. She previously lived with other dogs and cats, showing she knows how to be a good friend to both furry and human family members. Sydney is ready to leave the shelter behind and start her next adventure with a forever family who will give her all the love she deserves. Sydney was able to go on a Dog Day Out recently and here is what they had to say, `Sydney was so excited to head out for her Dog Day Out—she hopped right into the car with no hesitation! She was a little curious about the front seat at first, eager to take in everything around her, but quickly settled and rode calmly. On her walk along the busy Berkley Riverfront, she encountered runners, cyclists, construction noise, and even other dogs, and handled it all like a pro. While she pulled a bit at first out of excitement, she responded well to correction. Sydney didn’t react to other dogs or distractions, and even stopped to soak up some love from friendly passersby. This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, but she’s got a big heart and so much love to give—she just needs the right person to bring it out.`Sydney is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home!
