My story

Felix is a 4-month-old Retriever/Lab mix with the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. Though he may be a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long for this lovable pup to warm up and reveal his silly, happy side. Once you earn his trust, get ready for a tail-wagging, heart-melting friendship! Felix came to the Humane Society of South Mississippi on April 23rd, 2025, after being picked up as a stray by animal control in Gulfport. Since then, he’s been winning hearts left and right with his gentle spirit and joyful nature. One thing’s for sure—when you see Felix, his tail is always wagging! That’s how he shows his love and excitement for life (and for you!).His favorite pastime? Cuddling with his favorite people and giving the absolute best hugs. Felix is the perfect companion for anyone looking for comfort, love, and a little bit of goofy fun.Felix is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped—ready to start his next chapter with you.Come meet Felix today at HSSM!
