My story

Meet Rue: Nap Queen by Day, Zoomie Warrior by Dusk! Looking for a best friend who’s equal parts cuddlebug and chaos? Say hello to Rue, the American Pit Bull Terrier who’s redefining what it means to live life to the fullest. Rue lives by a few simple rules: 1) If it looks soft, nap on it 2) If it sprays water, ATTACK (yes, we’re looking at you, hose) 3) If the sun’s still up, there’s more playing to do! This wiggly ball of energy plays like it's her full-time job and snoozes like she’s getting paid for it. Whether she’s chasing toys, frolicking in the yard, or heroically defending her people from the evil garden hose, Rue is always 110% committed to the bit. Oh- and walks? She LOVES them. So much so that her excitement might lead her to launch off your leg or body like she’s training for the Dog Olympics. (Parkour? More like Barkour.) Rue is a goofy, loving, energetic baby who needs an active family ready to keep up with her antics and shower her with love (and belly rubs). She’s waiting patiently for her forever home where she can be her full silly self, and maybe finally defeat that hose once and for all. Is your heart (and couch) ready for Rue?
