My story

Sierra is the kind of pup who brings sunshine wherever she goes. With her soulful eyes, wagging tail, and classic retriever charm, Sierra is ready to find her forever home—and her forever person. This gorgeous girl is a retriever mix, which means she’s naturally sweet, smart, and eager to please. Whether it’s a hike through the woods, a game of fetch, or a lazy Sunday nap, Sierra is down for whatever—as long as it’s with you. She’s friendly, affectionate, and gets along well with people and other dogs. Sierra would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of love, daily playtime, and continued guidance as she grows into her best self. She’s already working on her basic manners and picks things up quickly—she’s a retriever, after all! A consistent routine and a little training will go a long way with this bright, loving girl. If you’re interested in adopting, our process begins with the submission of OUR online application at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com, or email us if you submitted an application within the last six months. We review and schedule meets (with approved applicants only) based on the order received. Keep in mind they are young puppies with a life expectancy of up to 15 years. Our guiding principle for adoptions is to seek the right fit for family and for dog, including a home that can stay committed to them for life.
