My story

Meet Blue Boy, a big ol’ gentle hippo of a dog,a handsome heartthrob with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He`s looking for a forever loving home. This sweet 5-year-old has had a tough journey—he’s been left at several different shelters across the St. Louis area by the same owner. But this time, he’s landed at the Pet Adoption Center, and the staff has completely fallen for him. Blue Boy is a happy, goofy guy once he’s out of his kennel. While he is kennel reactive—sometimes due to stress, sometimes out of excitement—outside the kennel he’s calm, affectionate, and full of charm. He’s potty trained, enjoys meeting new people, and absolutely adores neck and booty scratches. He’ll do a delightful little gallop after toys before quickly losing interest.Blue Boy is a total people-lover. He hasn’t met a human he didn’t charm, and he’s happiest when he’s near his favorite people.He’s got some strong opinions when it comes to other pets:Dog selective – he prefers calm, submissive canine companions and would thrive as the only dog or with the right match.No cats, please – they’re not his thing.Blue is a confident boy looking for a family who can give him structure, love, and consistency.
