My story

Meet Raisinette, a 4-year-old Shar Pei mix with the sweetest soul and the softest little eyes. Weighing in at just over 30 pounds, this petite girl may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet and gentle nature starts to shine.Raisinette came to us with some pretty rough skin issues that we’re working hard to treat. Because of this, she can still be a bit unsure about touch—especially on her body—but she does love a good head scratch and will check in for affection when she’s ready. Her favorite place to be? Outside in the sunshine, soaking up the fresh air and exploring at her own pace.She’s made a lot of progress already, but Raisinette’s journey to becoming her healthiest, happiest self will take some time, patience, and lots of love. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can continue to build confidence and blossom into the wonderful companion we know she is.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
