Phoebe

My story

Sweet Phoebe was born in May of 2024 so she is still a very young girl. Phoebe is a gentle and shy lady that is beginning to learn that people can be nice. She loves pets and gentle head and ear scratches but it takes her time to find the courage to ask for them. She absolutely LOVES other cats and would love to have a gentle cat friend to love on. She has spent most of her short life living in a kennel in a rural shelter in northern NC. When we met her in the shelter and learned she had been there for over 8 months waiting for someone to notice her, we just couldn't leave her there. We've been working with her and she's making huge strides in her trust of people. She will need a quiet home with adults that understand that she needs to go slowly. We know the patient person that adopts her will be richly rewarded with the love of a gentle cat that has been wishing for her very own person for a very long time.
