Male, 8 years old, 9.6 lbs, Chihuahua mix Personality: adaptable, calm, independent, easygoing, and quiet. Taco Tuesday, or TT for short, is one of the most chill chihuahuas you will ever meet. If he had to pick a favorite activity it would probably be lounging, but he also enjoys a good car ride. TT is independent and happy to sleep in his bed on his own without demanding to be on your lap or by your side. His walks could be accurately called “strolls,” since he moves at a very leisure pace and does not pull on the leash at all. When his foster is away during the day, TT is left to roam his foster home, though he is totally new to house training. All in all, Taco Tuesday would be a great fit for someone looking for an independent and easygoing dog. If that sounds like you, contact us today to set up a meeting! ___________________________________________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Taco Tuesday, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
