Dora

My story

Location: St Paul, MN This sweet girl loves people! Dora enjoys lazy evenings on the couch after supervising me all day. She doesn’t mind being a couch potato but also likes to spend time outside, go for car rides and would probably enjoy a good game of fetch when we figure out which toys interest her most! She gets along well with adults and kids, she has been around kids as young as 5 years old. Dora is cautious of other dogs at first, especially higher energy dogs, but has warmed up to our 7 month old pittie mix. She walks on a leash like a dream, but will try to chase squirrels if you let her. She does not like being tethered on a lead and would rather hangout close to people. Dora is good in a kennel but it does take some cheese bribery to get her in there! Dora is completely potty trained. We are working on some of her house manners, like counters and tables, it isn’t a big issue but want to make sure she knows these are not her space. She does not beg for food but can be easily motivated to learn with treats and positive reinforcement. Overall she is quiet, I haven’t heard her bark even once, well mannered, affectionate and oh so lovable. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
