My story

My adoption fee will be waived from August 18 - 24as part of the MUTT-CHKINS ADOPTION EVENT !!! Terrence is a total heart-throb-goofy, photogenic, and ridiculously handsome. If there were a doggie modeling agency, he`d be their cover star (as long as treats were involved). But looks are not all he has this young guy is full of energy, enthusiasm, and a real zest for life! He is a food-loving, toy-chasing, adventure-seeking pup who is always ready to make you laugh. Terrence is curious and playful, and he is already picking up on training with the help of snacks and structure. He thrives when he has something fun to do and someone cheering him on. He is still learning the ropes when it comes to polite greetings and channeling all that excitement, so he is looking for adopters who enjoy working with smart, spirited dogs. With positive reinforcement, a consistent routine, and a good sense of humor, this guy will blossom. Dog friends could be a great match for him with the right introductions and play style, and he would love a home where walks and training games are part of the daily routine. We have open adoption hours Mon- Wed 11:30am-5pm, Thu-Sun 11:30am-6pm no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available pets. Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they are interested in and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
