Gunther-Courtesy post

My story

This is Gunther and he will need a new home soon. Gunther is my Mom's best buddy, but she is going through a cancer battle that looks like it won't end well. Because he needs to be an only dog in a household without young children, none of us can permanently adopt him because we all have dogs and most have little ones. He is a super sweet, well behaved dog. He goes out to do business and immediately comes right back in. He is used to being alone while my sister was at work and never had accidents. Gunther is a wired haired full size Dachshund mix who is fixed, up to date on shots, and is 6 years old. Right now he mostly has to stay in a bedroom at my house as there are already 2 to 4 dogs there at her house....and that is just not sustainable long term.
