What my friends at ACC say about me:Coqui tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: Cuqui is a beautiful, three-year-old gray and white girl with olive-colored, almond-shaped eyes. She's very shy and often prefers the security of her cubby (and perhaps a game of hard-to-get). She stayed in her cubby watching me for the entirety of my first visit, but came out to greet me when I popped back to say hello again. Apparently she had decided that I was a-okay and, having made that decision, she showed her affection freely. She didn't just come forward for scratches and pets; she practically climbed out of her condo to get closer to me. At times, she even had her paws on the metal window as if to say "Let me outta here; I gotta get into your arms." It really seemed like she just wanted to get as close as possible. Anyone with even a Grinchy heart would be only too happy to get closer to this lovely, charming, and adorable little girl. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 9.03 Age: 3yrs 1mths 0wks
