My story

Hi - Chip here! If there's anything you need to know about me off the bat, it's that I have been through SO much in my 4 or so years of life. If you have been following the shelter for a while, I'm from the group of "plane crash" dogs from Louisiana a few years back. After that followed two failed adoptions, going through Heartworm treatment, being adopted again, and now being surrendered through no fault of my own yet again. I cannot catch a break. Despite this journey I have been on, I am still keeping my spirits high! I know I am a good boy who deserves all the love in the world and is willing to give it back in return! I can be a little wary of strangers at first, and younger children do make a bit nervous sometimes, but with a proper, slow introductions to new people, I will warm up in due time! I have a good energy level that is easy to keep up with, I've gone to doggy daycare and did very well, and I have lived with cats in the past - just a fair warning though, I may chase them from time to time! I deserve a home that will be able to give me the love, attention, and exercise that I need to be the best pup I possibly can be! Maybe you could be the one to be my true forever home?
