My story

Notes from a foster day out:Beautiful Gerber is a bundle of energy!Jumped right into the car, going from window to window to see the scenes passing by, just so excited to be out and away (a safety belt would be a mustâ&#194&#128¦). Walks well on leash, a good thing considering his size.Just the sweetest boy, leaning in for scratches and belly rubs.Even though he is a big boy, whenever I sat down, he was immediately in my lap.Gerber is active so would need a family to keep up with him, willing to exercise and train him and find different types of enrichment to engage him.He could do well with an easy-going dog who has the same energy level.He is super, super smart and food-motivated. He picked up sit and down quickly. I also corrected him twice for jumping and when he was about to do it a third time, he sat instead, so he catches on very quickly.Overall, I had the best time with him! He is so sweet and so receptive to training. Anyone would be lucky to have him. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
