My story

Loving, Calm, Gentle Meet Selkie! This lovely lady is all finished raising her kittens and is ready for a family of her own! Selkie is the picture of calm: she's very laid back, and sitting sweetly with her people receiving pets is her favorite activity. She's also very friendly with the kids in her foster home and seems unphased by the resident dog! We think Selkie will bring a welcome sense of zen to her new home. Selkie's only minor stress point so far has been other cats, which is common with new moms due to protectiveness over her kittens. In a home with plenty of space to spread out and lots of time for a slow introduction, this may not be an issue in the future, but she would also be perfectly happy as an only cat. If you're looking for the perfect cat to relax with, Selkie is a perfect fit. She would thrive in many homes as long as she's got someone around to pet her and some windows and nooks to explore! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
