My story

Meet Buddy—a 3-year-old Silky Terrier mix who’s ready to become your one and only!Buddy isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’s mastered the art of being wherever you are, whenever you’re there. Think velcro, but fuzzier and with a tail. If you’re moving, he’s moving. If you’re relaxing, he’s cuddling. If you’re leaving… well, he’ll be waiting patiently for your return, because life is just better with you in it.A few things to know about Buddy:Housebroken: 100%! He’ll even politely sit at the door when he needs a potty break.Leash-trained: Walks briskly and loves a good sniffari.Crate-trained: Buddy would rather not be crated and is much happier having free roam of the house.Friendly with cats and dogs: Cordial, but not playful (at least not yet). His heart belongs to his humans.Knows basic commands: Sit (both verbal and hand gesture) and responds well to his name.Behavior: No aggression here! Buddy may “mouth” your hand playfully (no teeth, just puppy enthusiasm), and sometimes jumps up in excitement.Needs regular grooming to keep his silky coat looking great.Buddy’s Favorite Things:Car ridesWalks and exploringSnuggling on soft beds or couchesBeing your constant shadowOnce a stray, now a star, Buddy has blossomed into a sweet, devoted companion who simply wants to be by your side. He’s ready for a forever home where he can be part of the action and share his endless affection (and excellent decorating skills with his toys).If you’re looking for a best friend who will love you unconditionally, Buddy is your guy. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!
